Cupcake

Hi Kathy: Just wanted to let you know that cupcake, or as we now call her, Aramis, is doing great. She has started basic training and knows sit, stay, and down. I have taught her how to give her paw and how to spin like a ballerina. She is still working on her potty training and still has mistakes in the house but I’m sure in a little bit of time she will learn to go outside to go potty. She sleeps in our bed at night, right between me and my husband. (not sure how long that is going to last lol) We are so happy with her. Thank you again for all your hard work for this foundation. Vinnie is doing great. He has adjusted to our family well an has become a very happy and friendly puppy. He's a joy to have and we are very happy we adopted him. Here's a couple of up to date pictures of him. --

Hello, Enter, now known as Axel, is doing good. Currently the only issues we are having with Axel is the chewing faze (he's ripped jeans, shirts, balls, toys and shoes), and his biting faze. He does his puppy bite on the kids and they get scratched from his teeth, but that doesn't stop them from playing with Axel. Axel has also come into the habit of digging holes by my fence. He has escaped more than 5 times but as soon as I call his name he comes running back. We are currently looking for options to stop this from happening. Potty training is a little frustrating. My kids have a lot of fault in that. We are trying to crate train him as recommended by the Vet. However my kids keep opening the crate and letting him out. I'm sure as Axel and my kids get older we will be able to fix this problem. Other than that, Axel has been Great. :) Obviously we have the frustration that comes with having a puppy but we love him regardless. He is a great addition to our home and I can't wait to see how he changes. The Vet doesn't think he is a Dachshund mix, but I assured him he was per the adoption papers. Axel is very small. Currently weighing about 5 pounds, but he eats well. Thank you guys again for giving us the opportunity to adopt him. :) Please let me know if there is anything else you'd like to know. Hi, Dante is doing great! I couldn't have adopted a better dog! He gets along with everybody, including all dogs! He is so popular at the dog park. No problems whatsoever! Thanks, Jamie

Nova

Nova is doing great. He went to the vet and she said he is very healthy and he gained five pounds. He eats very vigorously. She has now said Nova is to eat twice daily, instead of three time a day. That Kirkland Puppy Food!!! He is curious, intelligent and alert. We are thoroughly enjoying him. By the way, Nova has now graduated from chewing up socks, to shoes. Believe me when I say, we are all very careful to keep our shoes out of his line of vision. He is a great addition to our family, east to talk to and he keeps us young!!!
