Jabba

He is doing great! We're taking a nose games class which challenges him. Still leary around strangers but is coming along. I'm definitely thankful for him!

Jellybean
Jellybean

Jellybean is now ‘Flash the Wombat’ 😊 She’s a blast! After a little transition time and getting caps on her front claws, she is now happily ‘terrorizing’ the other animals in the house. As of last Saturday, she has all her shots and is ‘ready for battle’! She races from one end of the house to the other – thus the name ‘Flash’. She badly wants to play with the bird but alas, the bird doesn’t want to play with her. Her new favorite place is on top of the couch where she can survey the family room, look out on the pool or take a nap in those very infrequent quiet moments. She spreads her love by making sure to snuggle against a different person every night. I confess that I wake up and move her to my bed when it’s not my turn. Thank her foster family for us! WE LOVE HER! Sally

Jenna
Jenna

Hello Kathy, Sorry for the delay in my response. We have been very busy with Carlee (Jenna) since she joined our family. She has had multiple trips to Lund hospital (including today). She has yet to have a solid bowel movements and consistently has watery diarrhea. This is her second course of medication including multiple blood screenings and is scheduled for an ultrasound next week. She is the same weight when we got her and is quite emaciated. We are working with the doctors at Lund to give her the best care. As of right now they are treating her for a pancreatic disorder that she will most likely have to deal with for the rest of her life. I am extremely happy that your organization got her out of Puerto Rico when you did. I feel with the current state of their condition proper treatment would have been impossible. I will keep you posted of her progress. Thank you, (pictures to come when I get some weight on her) Joan Perez
