My name is Lula and I am a 4 year old, housebroken Rat Terrier. 
I was given up to a kill shelter while I was very pregnant (not my choice), and that's where I gave birth to babies. When the rescue heard about me, they swooped in and saved our lives. Shortly after my puppies got homes, it became was a mystery why I wasn't getting over this terrible cough, till the vet found out I had heartworms.... gross!  I went through some very painful treatments be I am FINALLY ready to start a new life. 

I love taking walks, playing with squeaky toys, and sleeping in my doggie bed. 
If you leave socks on the floor, I will steal them! When I am happy or excited, watch me race through the house! Loud noises startle me and sometimes new dogs.
