Matilda “Tillie” is a sweet soul. Tillie is a very shy puppy. She loves dogs but takes a while to warm up to people. She is tiny so she would not do well in a family with children. Once she warms up to her person, she will follow them everywhere. She must be handled carefully. Tillie needs a dedicated, retired person that has the time to care for her. She is completely pee pee pad trained. Also, she is crate trained.

Good with Dogs, Is Not Good with Kids

Special Needs: She is hydrocephalic, although not severely. If she is dropped or if she bangs her head….it could be devastating. Matilda has a torn ligament..waiting for surgery. Tillie also requires 3 meals a day. Again, it would be necessary for her foster person to be available to provide a daytime meal. It is important that we keep her fed and hydrated throughout the day. The vet doesn’t feel it’s necessary for her to be on any medication at this time.
