Missy was picked up off the streets in Kenya, Africa in 2009. It was a dangerous situation, and luckily her family brought her back to the United States with them. Kenya was a scary place for a dog, and when their family learned they needed to return to Kenya this year, they felt it was best to protect Missy, by surrendering to our group.  

Missy is a calm and reserved observer. She doesnt feel the need to be constantly in your lap, but just sitting next to you and being pet gives her happiness. 

Missy would rather not be a companion for a young child, because she would like a calm and quiet owner, who likes to live be same lifestyle as her! She is great on the leash, housebroken and not a needy dog.
